History

Worldfone was established in 2015 and launched its first MVNO on the mobile market later that year under the trade name Forbesfone, a Forbes Media Group sub-company specializing in mobile roaming solutions for the frequent traveller. Its simple pay-to-go tariff, including Voice, SMS and Data services was launched in over 220 countries.

Through 2016, Worldfone saw its services extend into M2M solutions, providing businesses with a reliable and secure network which enabled them to turn their machines into intelligent assets. IoT solutions soon became a core service of the company, offering enterprises an end-to end connectivity solution and helping them further monetize their business models. In late 2016, PING, a second-sub-brand providing data services was launched. PING appealed to the young chatting generations with its minimal data costs and its worldwide coverage.

Today

Throughout the two years as an MVNO, Worldfone has had the opportunity to analyse the demands of clients. This observation helped the team at Worldfone understand that there was a missing segment in the market, that would provide valuable growth and profitable outcomes to local and foreign businesses alike. Having already the proper tooling and expertise in place, Worldfone shifted its operations to cater exclusively for B2B customers, becoming an MVNA able to provide an entirely customisable, professional telco solution. This not only adds value to the company’s services but also creates a new revenue stream into a previously untapped market.

Values

Communicating professionalism, transparency & flexibility

With a combined worth of decades of experience in the telco field, the team at Worldfone strives to not only push for a better product – but to find different ways in which the solution offered can be adapted to every company’s business needs.

All customer requests are handled in their own rights, and the team works professionally within the boundaries set by the customer. Transparency is key to building strong relationships, while in-depth research ensures the team tailors a bespoke solution with the end-customer always in mind.
